AVERAKS

AVERAKS/What we build/Custom software

Custom software Built around how your business actually runs.

Most businesses do not need another subscription. They need the one system that matches how they already work, instead of three that half fit, a spreadsheet holding it together, and someone retyping the same information into all of them. We run AVERAKS on software we built ourselves, so this is not theory.

Start your enquiry A few questions, then a conversation.

Four signs you have outgrown off the shelf.

The four that come up most.

CRMsYour pipeline, your stages.

Leads, clients, follow ups and reporting shaped to how you actually sell, not a generic funnel you have to translate into your own language every day.

  • Your stages, not somebody’s template
  • Enquiries land in it automatically
  • Reminders and follow ups that fire
  • Reporting on what you care about

Proof we run AVERAKS on a CRM we built here.

Client portalsA logged in place for your clients.

Progress, documents, invoices and updates in one place, so your clients stop emailing to ask where things are at and your team stops answering.

  • Secure logins per client
  • Documents and invoices in one place
  • Progress they can check themselves
  • Fewer status emails, measurably

Best when you field the same question weekly.

Booking enginesWhen off the shelf says no.

Your availability rules, your pricing logic, your deposits and cancellations, for businesses that have outgrown the tools that assume every booking looks the same.

  • Rules that match how you really book
  • Deposits, payments and reminders
  • Staff, resources and capacity
  • Connects to the rest of your systems

Best when your booking rules keep breaking the tool.

Internal toolsThe software that removes the spreadsheet.

Quoting, job tracking, stock, reporting. Whatever your team currently does by hand, twice, in two places.

  • Built from your actual process
  • One source of truth
  • Permissions per role
  • Grows as the business does

Best when the workaround has become the process.

Six tools, or one.

Five subscriptions, none of them quite fitting, and one file the business would stop without.

After

One systemBuilt from how you already work

The same jobs, the same rules, one place to type them, and nothing retyped twice.

This is the whole argument for custom software, and the whole argument against it. If your tools already fit, replacing them buys you nothing and we will tell you so.

What people ask about custom software.

Is custom software not much more expensive?

Up front, usually yes. Over a few years it often is not, once you count per seat subscriptions for tools you half use and the hours your team spends bridging the gap between them. We will do that arithmetic honestly with you, including when the answer is that you should keep what you have.

How does it start?

With a conversation rather than a questionnaire. We need to see how you work now, the real process including the workarounds, before anyone designs anything. Most of the value in custom software is decided before a line of code is written.

Can it connect to the tools we already use?

Usually, yes. Xero, your booking system, your email, your payments. The aim is one source of truth, not a new island your team has to keep in sync by hand.

What if our process changes?

It will, and that is the point of building it yourself. The system changes with you instead of you waiting for a vendor to consider it. Ongoing development sits on a plan so there is a clear way to ask for changes.

Who owns it?

You do. The system, the data and the code. We keep building and maintaining it for as long as that is useful to you, and it remains yours either way.
